  28. While it's true that most programmers would program whether they get money for their efforts or not....
  29. It certainly encourages programmers to spend the money involved in uploading upgraded versions of a program when they receive some monetary recompense.  Otherwise they give both time and upload costs for free,  -- not exactly a great motivation for upgrading and improving programs.   I'm not trying to get rich programming,  just to cover the costs.
